Juliet enters to apologies to Capulet about the way she reacted and is gonna marry Paris now being so confident that the plan would work. Capulet is so exited that he moves the wedding to tomorrow.

In this scene Paris is at Friar Lawrences cell and is talking to him about marrying Juliet. She enters and they talking to Friar about how ugly Paris is and basically takes the mick out of him. Paris leaves and Juliet and Friar Lawrence begin to talk alone. Juliet speaks how that if she isn’t with Romeo she might commit suicide. Friar Lawrence talks to her about a plan that could fix everything. He talks about a potion that could make her look dead for 48 hours and that when they find her dead that they will take her to the Capulet catacomb where Romeo will wait for her. Friar Lawrence tells her that he will send someone to tell Romeo about this plan he has come up with, he also says that the nurse shouldn’t sleep in her room tonight so that she can take the potion.

In this scene romeo and Juliet have just spent the night with each other and it the morning and romeo has to leave before they catch him. Juliet request for him to stay as if it was still night. after the nurse comes to warn Juliet that her mother is coming. Juliet mother is coming top give Juliet the great news about how she can get married to paris on Thursday, but Juliet get married again because she has just married romeo. then lord Capulet comes and says that if you don’t marry paris he will disown her as there daughter and make her live on the streets. after that lord Capulet had stormed off so Juliet turned to her mother and asked for help and she left her. Then the nurse says that she may be better off marrying Paris saying that he looks better and would be a better husband. Juliet get angry and storms of to Friar Lawrence cell.

Paris is sticking around hoping he can marry Juliet. Juliet’s still depressed about Tybalt and Romeo. Capulets way to cheer her up is to force her into a marriage with Paris. Juliet has no choice Lord Capulet decides to go full speed ahead.

Romeo is hiding at Friar Laurence’s he tells him on the Tybalt situation. Friar wants him to see the banishment as good news and there is no execution but Romeo is too focused on the banishment part. There’s a knock at the door. The Friar tells Romeo to hide but Romeo refuses. The nurse was at the door. The Friar comes up with a plan that’s better because it doesn’t involve romeo committing suicide. Romeo and Juliet can have one night together before Romeo leaves Verona. Hearing this plan, Romeo recovers and runs off to see Juliet.

Juliet, who hasn’t heard about what romeo. Romeo is supposed to meet her in her room. When the Nurse enters, Juliet realizes right away that something has gone wrong. Juliet thinks Romeo has been killed. The nurse tells Juliet that her husband has just murdered her cousin. Juliet’s first reaction is to curse Romeo. Juliet says to the Nurse and tells her she can’t say things like that to her husband. If he hadnt killed Tybalt then Tybalt would have killed Romeo. She had to choose between the cousin she has loved all her life and her new husband. She chooses Romeo. Just as she’s decided to forgive Romeo she remembers that he been banished and starts to get upset the Nurse promises to find him so they can at last say goodbye.

At Friar Lawrence’s cell, Friar Lawrence tries to calm down Romeo and remind him that marriage is for life he talks about how “These violent delights have violent ends,” this means that “These sudden joys have sudden endings. They burn up in victory like fire and gunpowder. When they meet, as in a kiss, they explode. Too much honey is delicious, but it makes you sick to your stomach.”(SparkNotes) Juliet runs in and even in the presents of a priest they cant stop showing there affection for each other. Friar Laurence marries them so they can move on to there honeymoon.

Juliet waits for the Nurse to return with a message from Romeo. When the Nurse comes back she starts to play games with her saying how her bones ache because how old she is and how difficult her life is. Finally after a while the Nurse gives in to tell Juliet quickly go to Friar Laurence’s cell where Romeo is waiting so they can get married.
Towards the end of the scene the Nurse says she will “fetch a ladder” for Romeo to climb up so the lovers can spend their wedding night together.

Mercutio and Benvolio still don’t know where Romeo is. Tybalt sends Romeo a message to put up his sword. Mercutio uses the opportunity to make fun of Tybalt he makes fun of his sword fighting skills. Romeo enters he is no longer depressed over Rosealine. They all start making fun of each other. Then the Nurse appears to meet with Romeo. The others thought she looked ridiculous and Mercutio couldn’t stop making fun of her, and saying rude things to her.
